Christmas {TIME}

We have had so much fun this year, I'll have to admit I was a little sad to not be home around family or not have any family here but it has turned out okay. We have been able to start so many new traditions and I have loved every minute of it. We started Decemeber off by making a ginger bread house, I think Koop ate more than he put on the house...but it still turned out really cute.As you can see this is very serious buisness to Weston:)After about a week Kooper broke of the gingerbread man and ate it, yes he ate it!!We also open a book every night, it has been so fun for Kooper. They are all christmas books and it makes going to bed not seem so bad!And of course our little elf "Scooter" has been getting into some trouble every night! This is just a small example of what he did on Koopers Birthday...he was making snow angels out of sugar!! That dang elf! We have this really cute train that goes through the Royal Gorge and in the winter they make a "polar express" train out of it so of course we had to do that. Kooper was SOOO excited, when we were walking up to the train Koop said,"Im so excited my bones are freaking out." So worth it!We also went up to Denver for a few days, we got to see Santa, did a little shopping, and we went to the Zoo to see the lights. Even though it was FREEZING it was actually really fun!
What a fun time of year, I love that I have been able to spend so much time with my cute little family, and most of all make these memories that are priceless:)

6 Months...

Well Im only a month late which I feel pretty good about this time of year. So my sweet little Karver is growing up way too fast! He is such a smiley little guy and will give out that toothless little grin to about anybody..he loves the attention he gets when he does it so he is a ham most of the time. He is in the 95% for height and 70% for weight, which by the way he eats Im totally surprised that he isn't chunkier! He will eat anything that you put in his mouth, he does good with all fruits and veggies and he is loving finger foods. He is finally sleeping through the night which is sooooo nice! The little stinker started army crawling at about 5 1/2 months, which is WAY too young! He is still trying to crawl on his hands and knees but as for now he just goes backwards when he is on his knees which makes him very mad so I think he will just stick to army crawling.Trying so hard to get that crawl down....But its soooo exhausting!So Sweet!
Happy half birthday little buddy, now please quit growing up so fast!

Dear Kooper,
I usually like to write you a little letter on your birthday but today your Daddy wants to write it. I just want you to know how much I love you and how much your sweet little spirit has blessed my life! Even though I'm basically chopped liver when Daddy gets home, I love the relationship that you guys have, he makes your world go around and the excitement on your face when Daddy walks through the door is priceless! Hey little buddy, I can't believe you are 4 years old!!! It seems Like just yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. You looked so small and innocent in your car seat and now you buckle your own car seat up!! I love coming home. It is the highlight of my day. Some days you play a game and hide from me until I find you ( under the bed 9 out of 10 times) or the best is when you run up and wrap your arms around me with a big smile and kiss...boy I love those hugs!!! Some times you are a little naughty though...like that time you hid that $300 cash from us in the dryer drawer for a week...but you did remember where you put it when we asked....or that time you dumped too much fish food into your fish bowl and killed poor Fred #3 ( yeah 3 fish in two weeks). But no matter what you do I will always love you so much!! You might be in timeout for 1/4 of your life but I will never stop loving you. I love our wrestle matches and our nighttime trips to "spiderville". I love your funny words and expression like "oh snap" and "bonus!" and how you can do googoo googles and an English accent. I love how you memorized your entire pre-school classe's names first and last and how you operate my ipad better than I do. I love that you think mommy is chopped liver because I know that one day you will think I am chopped Liver too.....but for now I am so glad that you are my best friend and little buddy!! We love you Kooper and happy birthday!!!!Four year ago today we got the best Christmas present ever! Im still in love with your big eyes!Oh how we miss those cuddle days:) Love the curls!Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

Brotherly {love}

Ever since I had Karver, Kooper is not that into him, he doesn't like one thing to do with him....he thinks he stinks, Im really serious. If I put a blanket on Koop that Karver has had for awhile he smells it them throws it off him and yells, "that smells like brother get me another one!!" Is he part dog, maybe? He knows if Karver has touched anything of his just by smelling it! Weird right? So today I asked well made Koop sit by brother so I could take a few pictures, it actually went ok.Notice his face, is it really that painful?

It definitely went better when they were just sitting next to each other!This is what Karver does all-day-long, just watches his brother...so cute!

Utah!

We had such a good time in Utah. We always love going home and visiting family and I of course love that I'm able to still do a little bit of hair while Im there, I have the best clients that have become such close friends. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family on both sides, that love and spoil our kids so much when we come. Making cookies at Grandmas..LOVES his "papa"Grandma Pam has a new obsession with pinterest and loves trying out her findings with Kooper:)

We also had our White/Swindlehurst family Christmas Party and we got spoiled as usual!They had on the same shirts...their moms must have good taste:)"Love Birds"

We also had a game night with my family, we had a blast...we play this candy bar and dice game that even Koop can play, he loved being involved! I was wondering why I didnt have any pictures with my cute Mom but then I remembered that she was always taking care of Karver so we could play...I sure do love that lady!
Last but not least we had a little birthday party for Kooper, we love to do it in Utah so that all his cousins can come.What cute little pirates, Im not sure why Koop's mustache is on his chin?Picking up candy after breaking the pinataThey went on a treasure hunt and found all this "LOOT"

Im so behind but in my defense we have been in Utah visiting family for almost a month, yes a month!! Weston's job is so great, he gets so much time off and since we aren't going home for Christmas we thought we would just spend some extra time there. That smell....

One of my favorite things in this world is that smell of a baby just out of a bath wrapped in a clean towel. MMMM I could just eat him up!!

Pumpkin Patch!

We have such a cute little pumpkin patch about 20 minutes from our house. It was such a nice day when we went, Koop loved every second of it! PS what is up with the black pumpkins?Corn slide.Corn Maze.Hay Ride.What a fun day out with my 3 favorite boys in the world!
